Verify Your Setup
Let's confirm everything is working. Here's a quick checklist — most of it you can see right from your dashboard.
1. Is the snippet working?
Visit your own website, then open Signal Sparrow. Within a minute or two you should see visitor activity appear.
If you'd like to double-check the technical side, open your browser's Developer Tools → Network tab, refresh your site, and look for a request to signalsparrow.com. A 200 status means the snippet is sending data correctly.
2. Is Stripe connected?
Go to Settings → Stripe. You should see your account listed as Connected, and your revenue starting to appear in your dashboard.
3. Is your match rate climbing?
Your match rate is how much of your revenue Signal Sparrow could trace back to a source. It won't be high on day one — that's normal. As new visitors turn into paying customers, more revenue gets matched and the number climbs.
Attribution is a story that unfolds: someone clicks an ad today and might pay next week. Your dashboard gets richer every day as those connections complete.
4. Is your destination receiving events? (optional)
If you connected a destination, open the Destinations page and use Send test event to confirm the connection is live. A successful test means Signal Sparrow can deliver your results to that platform.
Everything checks out?
You're done. 🎉 Signal Sparrow is now tracking which campaigns bring paying customers and reconciling every number to your real Stripe revenue.
Something not working?
- No visitor activity? Make sure the snippet from Install the SDK is on every page, and that you used your Public API Key.
- No revenue showing? Re-check the Connect Stripe step and confirm the account shows as Connected.
