Meta Conversions API
Connecting Meta lets Signal Sparrow send your paying-customer conversions to your Meta pixel through the Conversions API — the server-side path that survives ad blockers and iOS restrictions.
What you'll need
- A Facebook login with access to your business's ad account.
- That's it — Signal Sparrow handles the pixel for you.
How to connect
- On the Destinations page, choose Meta and click Connect with Meta.
- Sign in and approve access.
- Signal Sparrow finds the pixels on your ad account and, if you have more than one, lets you pick.
No pixel yet? We'll create one
If your ad account doesn't have a pixel, Signal Sparrow can create one for you automatically during setup — you don't need to go into Meta Events Manager first. Once created, it's connected and ready to receive conversions.
You can also choose Enter credentials manually and paste a Pixel ID and access token from Meta Events Manager. Most people don't need to — the guided connection is simpler.
How it forwards
- Your conversions are mapped to Meta's standard events — for example, a new subscription becomes a Purchase.
- Personal details are hashed before sending, which also improves Meta's Event Match Quality (EMQ) score.
- If you run the Meta pixel on your site too, Signal Sparrow shares an event ID so Meta deduplicates the two automatically.
Testing
Use Send test event on the destination, then check Meta Events Manager's Test Events tab to see it arrive. This confirms the connection without affecting your real reporting.
