Google Analytics 4

Connecting GA4 lets Signal Sparrow send your revenue conversions into Google Analytics — including the ones that happen off-site or days later, which your on-page GA4 tag can't capture on its own.

What you'll need

  • A Google account with access to your GA4 property.

How to connect

  1. On the Destinations page, choose Google Analytics 4 and click Connect with Google.
  2. Sign in and approve access.
  3. Pick the web data stream you want conversions sent to. Signal Sparrow sets up the secure connection for you automatically.

What it sends — and what it doesn't

Signal Sparrow forwards conversions (like purchases) into GA4 server-side. It does not send page views.

Keep your own GA4 tag for page views

GA4's page views and sessions should still come from your normal GA4 tag on your website. Signal Sparrow's job is to add the revenue conversions GA4 would otherwise miss — the two work together.
